By car:
* from the North: Highway A1 Exit VALDICHIANA, take the E45 >>> directions 1°) Perugia, 2°) Cesena, 3°) Ancona up to Pianello take the SS 318 up tol Casacastalda and turn to Carbonesca – Padule SP 240.
* from Roma: Highway A1 Exit ORTE, take the E45 >>> directions 1°) Perugia, 2°) Cesena, 3°) Ancona up to Pianello and follow as above.
* from the South: Highway A14 Exit ANCONA NORD, take the E55 >> direction Fabriano-Perugia until Casacastalda SS 318 and turn to Carbonesca – Padule SP 240.

BY RAIL
At 20 mins drive from Caresto the railway station is Fossato Di Vico.  from Rome. You can  arrive into Perugia by train from Florence,Rome and the north of Italy and hire a car near railway station.
